Our Equipment

Where do we sleep?

Hilleberg - Nallo 3
Expensive - but so far we have not been dissapointed, rather the opposite.

In the nights we fix out tent with the bikes. This way, if someone steals our bikes the whole tent collapses.
We bought a tent underlay in the do-it-yourself market; cheap & indepensable.

Mountain Equipment - Classic 500 Short

Since both of us are smaller than 1,75m (we won´t tell you our exact height) the small version worked out fine. And with a weight of 1095g and a comfort zone until 2 degrees we were more than happy.

Tip: If you´re a couple, buy one with left- and one with right-zip and combine them to have more space. Only recommandable if your partner does not take up to much space. :-)

TERM-A-REST Trail scout
Small, comfortable and self-inflating. This one also exists in different length and is again a good way to save some weigh

How do we cook (and eat)?

MSR - Whisperlite international
Works with normal fuel from any gas station.

Only disadvantage:
The fuel needs to be compressed which means pumping for a couple seconds.

Quechua - Non-stick cooking set (2 people)
Easy to wash...only the cups could be bigger. And the plates get quite hot ones the food is on it, but probably only plastic plates would make this better.

Esbit Titan cutlery
Always the weight in mind...
Until now we had different ones, so we´ll see how they work out.

Sea-to-Summit - Ultra-Sil kitchen sink
Another weight and size wonder :-) We hope it holds what it promises.

... and other toys

GoalZero - Nomad 7 with Guide 10 plus
We will see how this turns out expecially since there won´t be too much sun. We´ll keep you up-to-date.

Not every device can charge directly, but the chargeable batteries come with an USB plug which works for everything we tested so far.
